Shreveport Bossier Data Center Supplier Events

Following the recent announcement of Amazon Web Services’ $12 billion data center investment across Caddo and Bossier Parishes, regional partners are launching a coordinated Supplier Outreach & Informational Event to ensure local businesses are prepared to participate in this transformative project.

Led in collaboration with STACK Infrastructure, North Louisiana Economic Partnership, SBAACC, the Bossier Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Shreveport Chamber, the outreach sessions are designed to connect prime contractors, subcontractors, service providers, and small businesses with upcoming development opportunities tied to the multi-campus data center expansion.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment to building a strong local supply chain that supports long term economic growth and workforce development across Northwest Louisiana.

The $12 billion investment is expected to generate:

  • 540 new direct jobs paying 150 percent above the state average
  • Approximately 1,700 additional indirect jobs across the region
  • Up to 1,500 construction jobs during peak buildout
  • Millions in new tax revenue to support schools, infrastructure, and public services

As site preparation and construction begin, regional leaders are focused on ensuring that local contractors, minority owned businesses, and service providers are informed, connected, and positioned to compete.

“This is about more than a project. It is about ownership in our region’s future. We are intentional about making sure local and small businesses benefit directly from this investment and have the opportunity to grow alongside it. When our local businesses secure contracts, create jobs, and scale their operations, the impact multiplies across Northwest Louisiana”, said Drayden Dunn, Community partner in regional outreach efforts. “This transformative investment will have a major and lasting impact on our local business community. Our focus now is making sure companies are prepared, connected, and positioned to participate.”
