The Magnolia Pit has officially announced plans for a second location, bringing its signature smoke to the night scene through a partnership with one of Shreveport–Bossier’s most storied bars, Fatty Arbuckles.
Known for its Texas-inspired barbecue and community-driven approach, The Magnolia Pit has built a loyal following by focusing on quality, craft, and consistency. Now, that same smoked-meat philosophy is evolving into something entirely new. After dark.
The collaboration will introduce a late-night concept that blends Magnolia Pit’s smoked flavors with Fatty Arbuckles’ deep bourbon roots. The result is a reimagined BBQ experience featuring elevated, shareable dishes designed specifically for nighttime dining. Think bourbon-forward pairings, small plates, and bold flavors served in a space that has hosted decades of Shreveport stories.
Fatty Arbuckles has long been a staple of the local nightlife, recognized for its classic bar atmosphere, extensive bourbon selection, and reputation as a place where conversations linger and history lives on. The bar recently moved to a new, larger location at 205 Wall Street. By teaming up, the two brands aim to honor that legacy while injecting new energy into Shreveport’s after-hours food scene.
Guests can expect the same pit-smoked meats Magnolia Pit is known for, presented in creative, tapas-style formats meant to complement cocktails and late-night gatherings. While details remain under wraps, both an official opening date and menu reveal are expected soon.
Shreveport is about to get something it has been missing. Late-night barbecue is coming. We’ll share an official opening date once an announcement has been made.
